1. The nature of this work
Temple of Eros offers spiritual, devotional, and transformational work: embodiment practices, somatic work, breath, coaching, ritual, and non-dual transmission. It is offered by Ishtar, based in Auckland, New Zealand, in person and online.
This work is not medical treatment, psychotherapy, counselling, or any regulated health service, and it does not replace any of these. No outcomes are guaranteed. If you require medical or psychological care, please seek qualified professionals. No erotic or sexual services are provided in exchange for money under any circumstances.
2. Eligibility and consent
- All clients must be 18 years of age or older. Age is confirmed at application and again before any engagement begins.
- All work is consensual at every step. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, including mid-session, without explanation or consequence.
- Participation is voluntary. You are responsible for deciding whether this work is appropriate for you, and you agree to disclose anything that may affect your safety in the work.
3. Bookings and payment
- Every engagement begins with an application or discovery call. Payment is requested only after both parties have agreed to proceed, with terms confirmed in writing.
- Where deposits apply, the deposit secures your place or date. The standard deposit is 50% of the agreed fee unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Temple of Eros does not store your card details.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice at no cost.
- Cancellation with at least 7 days notice: any deposit is refunded in full.
- Cancellation with less than 7 days notice: the deposit may be retained.
- If Ishtar must cancel, you may choose a full refund or a rescheduled date.
- Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
5. Privacy
Temple of Eros collects only the personal information you choose to provide: your name, contact details, and what you share in applications, forms, and sessions. This information is used solely to respond to you, to prepare and hold the work, and, where you opt in, to send occasional updates.
- Your information is never sold and never shared for marketing.
- Session content is strictly confidential, within the limits of New Zealand law (for example, where there is serious risk of harm or a legal obligation to disclose).
- Form submissions are transmitted securely and stored with access limited to Ishtar.
- You may request a copy of your information, or its correction or deletion, at any time under the Privacy Act 2020.
